LPG Gas Hose For Household LPG Stove
LPG Gas Hose Application
LPG hose is to transfer gas or liquid LPG, natural gas and methane within 25 bar. Besides, it’s also suitable for stove and industrial machines. At home, it always serves as the connection between gas tank and cookers such as gas stove.
Description
Compared with other plastic hoses, LPG gas hose can work in a wider temperature range. While the work temp could be -32℃-80℃. Thus it’s more suitable for both low and high temp use.
Technical requirement to LPG gas hose
LPG hose is to transfer inflammable gases. Thus it has strict technical requirements.
First, the tolerance. As the standard, the tolerance of the hose within DN20 should be within ±0.75mm. While it’s ±1.25 for DN25-DN31.5. Then, it’s ±1.5 for DN40-DN63.
Second, mechanical property. The tensile strength of inner tube should be 7Mpa. While it’s 10Mpa for cover. Meanwhile, the elongation should be 200% of inner tube and 250% for cover.
Third, pressure ability. The hose should bear 2.0Mpa. Meanwhile, there should not be leak and bubble at the pressure over 1 minute. Besides, the length change rate at pressure should be within 7%.
Fourth, low temp bend property. Put the hose at -40℃ for 24 hours. After that, there will not be crack. When recover to the normal temp, make the pressure test. While there should not be leakage.
Last, ozone resistance. Put the hose in a test box with 50pphm ozone content and 40℃. After 72 hours, there should not be crack on the surface.
